Social Distancing Changes Due to COVID-19

Providing a clean, healthy and safe environment at Play Day café has always been our commitment and priority with daily cleaning and sanitizing efforts to keep our guests and team members safe and healthy.

We have implemented changes throughout the facility to ensure we are following the Responsible Restart Ohio guidelines to continue to keep our guests and team member safe.

To meet the social distancing guidelines, we have implemented the following changes:

  • Reduced guest capacity of under 16%
  • Repositioning of furniture and closing tables to meet social distancing requirements
  • Reduce locker capacity in our lobby “closet” area to store shoes, coats and other personal items
  • 6-feet social distance “lines” at Guest Services and Café point of sale stations
  • Remove self-service items in the cafe
  • Closure of one waiver kiosk (complete waiver online for quicker entry)
  • Sneeze guards added at all Point of Sale stations
  • Enforcement of state mandated mask guidelines for adults and all children ages 10 and older

In addition to our standard cleaning and disinfecting procedures, we have implemented enhanced cleaning procedures in line with the recommendations of the Responsible Restart Ohio guidelines and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, such as:

  • Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in high traffic areas
  • Providing increased information on good hygiene practices

In addition to the enhanced cleaning procedures, we will continue to maintain our high standards of cleanliness that have always been in place, such as:

  • Detailed daily cleaning and disinfecting schedules throughout the facility
  • Hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility
  • Easy access to hand washing facilities in our four restrooms, including two family restrooms
  • Access to step stools in each restroom to provide more convenient handwashing for children
  • Safety and clean-up procedures in place for spills or bodily fluids

A friendly reminder of good hygiene practices to prevent the spread of illness recommended by the CDC, ODH and CCBH:

  • Stay home when you are sick
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow (dispose of tissue immediately)
  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands

We thank you for your continued support.
